Restaurant and Shops features the commercial businesses found in the Madrona neighborhood. The Madrona business district is relatively small. The centered of the business district is located at the corner of 34th and Union and basically forms a “T” with the business stretching one block north, one block south, and one block west. Although small, the Madrona business district is very active with numerous restaurants and shops. There are approximately 10 Seattle restaurants / food establishments within a block of 34th and Union. In addition, there are numerous shops and businesses including a corner market, pilates studio, barber, dry cleaner, laundry mat, jewelry, home decor store, doggie daycare, children’s boutique, plus other businesses including the home of the world famous Glassybaby.

In addition to what is considered the Madrona business district there are several other businesses on the edge of the Madrona neighborhood. Just south on 34th and Cherry (Cherry is generally considered the border of Madrona and Leschi neighborhood) there is a small commercial building and along Cherry there are some other businesses as well. Also on Union and Martin Luther King Way (MLK is generally considered the border of Madrona and the Central District) there is a Grocery Outlet as well as some other businesses.
