We’ve said this once and we’ll say it again and again; please don’t leave any valuables in your vehicles overnight. There has been a series of break-ins in Madrona as of recent, and reports have been filed for break-ins along residential streets. One resident reported a break in on the corner of 32nd and Olive, and believes whoever broke in must have used a disarming device to disarm their car alarm. Nothing was stolen from the vehicle, but the contents of the car was rifled through and is certainly disconcerting.
Another resident reported that their vehicle was also broken into, and that nothing inside the car was stolen, but their license plate had been taken in exchange for a plate for a stolen vehicle. Please be aware that break-ins might be happening in your neighborhood, and take the necessary precautions to protect your belongings.
