Madison Park Beach and Madrona Beach to Open this Weekend

Madison Park BeachTomorrow, Saturday June 23rd will hopefully bring some sunshine to Seattle (wishful thinking), as it marks the opening of several of Seattle’s wading pools and is the first day of summer that lifeguards will head to their posts at Seattle beaches 7 days a week when weather permits.

Lifeguards will be on duty noon-7pm Mondays-Fridays, and 11-am-7pm Saturdays and Sundays beginning this weekend through the 26th of August for Madrona Park Beach as well as various other beaches around Seattle including East & West Green Lake, and Pritchard Beach, and through Sept 3rd at Madison Park Beach and additional beaches including Mt Baker, Seward Park, and Matthews. We all know when the sun pokes out it’s not surprising to find Seattleites in their shorts and sundresses in 60 degree weather; why not join the masses this summer for some much needed vitamin D at Madison Park, Madrona Park or any other Seattle beaches.
